The Smithtown Arsenal, Boys U13 trained by Tommy Lips, beat three of the top teams in the state to take home the state championship. In the quarterfinals, they beat FC Westchester 3-2 in over time in an end to end, non-stop action game. In the semifinals, they beat Manhattan Barcelona in penalty kicks in a stalement 0-0 regulation tie. In the final, they beat Long Island United 2-1 to advance to the regional championships in a classic Arsenal victory. With this win, the Arsenal are currently ranked 8th in region 1 and 26th in the country. The Arsenal will compete down in West Virginia from July 1st-6th against the top 16 teams from Maine to Virginia. Great job boys and good luck down at Regionals. The season is about halfway done, however, there have been some great things going on this Spring. Here are a few highlights:

Hotspur--The U10 girls have reached the semi-finals of the Waldbaums Cup.

Fury---The U11 girls have reached the semi-finals of the Waldbaums Cup.

Fire---The U12 girls have reached the semi-finals of the State Cup.

Storm---The U13 girls have won the Waldbaums Cup.

Bulls---The U14 boys are in the finals of the Waldbaums Cup.

Spirit---The U15 girls finished 3rd in the Northeast Regional Premier League.

Attack---The U16 girls won their Northeast Regional Premier League and have reached the semi-finals of the State Cup.

Galaxy--The U11 boys have reached the semi-finals of the Waldbaums Cup.

Arsenal---The U13 boys won their Colonial Premier League and have reached the finals of the State Cup.

Sonic---The U16 boys have reached the quarter-finals of the State Cup.

Wizards---The U17 boys have reached the quarter-finals of the State Cup.
